Mjöll’s Backstory.
Mjöll is the daugther of Björn "White Raven" Hrothgar, late chieftain of the Crow Clan. When she was a young girl, she was witness to the massacre of the Hrothgar bloodline by Arnbjörn Magnusson of the Mountain Clan, a trusted family friend turned to bitter enemy. Not only Arnbjörn killed her father with a knife behind his back, but also schemed his way into turning those families who had vowed alliance to her family against them.
She fled into the woods, where she was taken in by a druidic sect who used to provide spiritual guidance not only to her father, but to all the chieftains of the Crow Clan. In there, she bode her time - waiting, training, praying, and planning for the right moment to avenge her ancestors and take back what belongs to her family. She took a sacred vow: not to rest until all of the Mountain Clan were reduced to ashes.
Mjöll is an accomplished warrior, and fights with a special two-handed sword, an heirloom of the family that was given to her by the Crow Matron in her coming to age cerimony. It's a very special blade.
In the last months, Mjöll managed to discreetly recruit a small band of warriors still faithfull to the old fealty vows of their families. She has been speaking of old legends: something about an ancestor who still lives, somewhere in the mountains, cursed by some old, dark magic, frozen in time. She plans to go there, to free him - maybe he is the key to vengeance, at last.
